Memory Cafe: The Science of Bats and Echolocation

This October, discover the fascinating world of bats as we explore bat biology, examine real bat biofacts from the museum’s collection, and investigate how bats use echolocation and sound to navigate and hunt in the dark.

Memory Cafe programs provide an opportunity for adults with memory challenges and their loved ones to explore science and nature through the museum’s collection in a supportive, social and welcoming environment. Each session in the series will have a presentation on unique collections items and an interactive science and nature activity.
