
Science After Hours: Camp Flashback 2025
The Buffalo Museum of Science’s June installment of Science After Hours is headed to Tifft Nature Preserve for an adult twist on scouting camp!
Turn back time to relive the carefree summers of your childhood, including crafts, wilderness survival activities, a leisurely Capture the Flag game on Tifft’s trails, and more!
Stop by our camp activity tables in the Education center for:
- Boondoggle
- Bracelet and keychain creations
- Make your own rain stick
- Perler bead creations
- Pinecone birdfeeders with Wild Birds Unlimited
- Make-your-own pennant flags with Compeer
- Optional tie-dye activity ($10 with registration or at event)
- and more!
Or head outdoors to experience:
- Wildlife survival led by Tifft staff
- Capture the flag app-based challenge along Tifft’s trails
- Bird watching with the Feminist Bird Club
- Leisurely self-guided nature walks around the Preserve
This is a rain or shine event. Reserve tickets early; spots are limited and the event sold out in 2024!
Tickets: $39, or $49 with bandana tie-dye activity
Tickets include activity materials and 2 drinks tickets that can be used for alcoholic drinks (beer, wine, seltzer, cider), non-alcoholic mocktails, soft drinks, snacks, or water.
Cash bar; ages 21+.
Outside alcohol is not permitted.
