Volunteering at Tifft

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Buffalo Museum of Science and Tifft Nature Preserve! We have a temporary hold on accepting new volunteers. Please check back in late summer 2024 when the program reopens.

Giving the gift of time can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life. Volunteering has a positive effect on you and your community. Whether you want a long or short-term commitment, there are volunteer opportunities at Tifft Nature Preserve for everyone.

Each year, hundreds of people donate time and talent to Tifft Nature Preserve by greeting visitors in the Darling Environmental Education Center, facilitating educational programs, assisting with large events, working on habitat restoration projects and maintaining the trails. Become a steward of Tifft Nature Preserve today!
