Buffalo Museum of Science’s June Science After Hours is headed to Tifft for an outdoorsy twist on the popular board game!
A group of novice birders need your help! They spotted a bird at Tifft Nature Preserve they’d like to identify but didn’t act fast enough to take a photo. Work in teams to travel through Tifft’s trails and gather clues from the birders stationed throughout the Preserve.
Did the bird have red feathers? Did it have webbed feet? Generate your questions using your observational skills and our handy Guess Whoo birding guide.
Using the process of elimination, help identify the mystery bird and log your answer into our birding book for a chance to win prizes!

Cash bar, game orientation and team strategy hour in the Darling Environmental Education Center
7 – 8:45 p.m.
Hit the trails – it’s game time!
8:45 p.m.
Mystery bird is announced and teams who have answered correctly will be entered to win prizes
Event takes place rain or shine; please dress appropriately for the trails.
Parking: Limited preferred parking spots are available in Tifft’s parking lot for $10 per vehicle. To reserve, call 716-896-5200 to reserve your tickets and parking spot(s).
Ages: 21+; photo ID required
Cost: $30 per person, Museum Members save 10%
Beer, wine, and soft drinks available for purchase; each ticket includes one complimentary drink. Alcoholic beverages may be enjoyed while inside or on the deck of the Education Center.
