SciNight Workshop: Poetry in the Particulars
Spend an evening enjoying the writings of the late poet Mary Oliver, then try your hand at crafting poetry of your own. Walk the Preserve (weather permitting), then spend time indoors crafting and discussing poetry with poet, essayist and University of Buffalo faculty, Jamie Barber. Jamie Barber has an MFA from Penn State University and has written and published poetry and essays, and taught writing workshops in the U.S. and India. Advance registration required.
