VISITOR CENTER HOURS:
Get Kids Outdoors
Whether it’s spring, summer, fall or winter, we welcome your little nature buff to explore the great outdoors through fun programs facilitated by Tifft’s experienced and knowledgeable staff and volunteers.
We offer a variety of programs throughout the year, including Discovery Camps during school breaks, a Reggio-Emilia inspired early childhood drop-off program and monthly Little Tykes Mini Nature Camps.
If you can’t make our scheduled programs, you can always stop by to explore our nature trails at your own pace. Stop into the Darling Environmental Education Center to grab a map and ask for guidance from one of our staff or volunteers for a route that is best for your family.
Explore our event calendar to see what programs are coming up!
Budding Naturalists Program
Due to upcoming construction, Budding Naturalists is on hold for the 2018-2019 school year. Please check back in 2019 for updated information!
The Museum’s Budding Scientists program has expanded to Tifft! The Budding Naturalists Reggio Emilia inspired drop-off program will use Tifft as an outdoor classroom to nurture your 3-5 year old’s natural sense of wonder and curiosity while encouraging physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. Let our team of dedicated facilitators inspire your child in our new early childhood classroom and on the Tifft trails! Register for both Budding Naturalists at Tifft and Budding Scientists at the Buffalo Museum of Science for a truly unique, enriching experience. Participants must be toilet trained, no Pull-Ups.
